Why Phelim loves Wexford cheddar?
Phelim’s late father used to have a small dairy farm in Blackwater which supplied Wexford creamery every day with fresh milk for their milk, cheese and cream. Phelim’s now retired mum used to work in the creamery during her college day’s. Wexford creamery creates about 100 jobs in Wexford, takes milk from 350 local farmers & supporting local is Phelim’s pride and joy!
Wexford creamery are major sponsors of food fairs, sporting events and charities in the Wexford area. With a fantastic selection of cheese from mild and creamy, rich and mature to strong and vintage there’s a cheddar there for everyone and the quality and taste is amazing.
