Wexford Creamery was set up in 1959 by a group of local Wexford dairy farmers and businessmen and produces delicious cheese, cream and milk.
Our award-winning cheddars are now available all over Ireland and in the UK while our milk and cream is distributed fresh every day throughout counties Wexford and Wicklow.
Today, our production and quality control techniques have changed with the times to ensure the best possible standards, but our milk still comes from our local Wexford suppliers and, on average, within county Wexford you are never more than 10 kilometres away from one of our dairy farmers.
We are proud of our many awards for our products, but we know that we couldn’t do it without Wexford farmers, their dedication to quality and the diet of fresh, lush green grass that their herds are grazed on for 10 months of the year. The climate that our cows enjoy here, in the Sunny South East, is perfectly suited for grass growing. In fact, on a good year, you might even see our cows grazing on Christmas day!
Wexford Creamery employs over 100 valued people in the county, many of whom are second generation with the company, helping us to keep our traditional ways, skills and expertise alive and growing.
At Wexford Creamery we like to play an active part in supporting local social, cultural, educational and sporting organisations and events, including GAA and athletics sponsorships.
